ŽSR - Class 498.1 "Albatros" steam locomotive

This Class 498.1 heavy express train steam locomotive miniature model, with tender, is a replica of the museum locomotive 498.104 of the Železnice Slovenskej Republiky (ŽSR). It features completely new tooling with an intricate metal construction and numerous separately applied details. The model includes a factory-installed smoke unit with dynamic smoke exhaust that varies with speed, and digitally controlled cab lighting. It's equipped with an mfx+ digital decoder, high-efficiency propulsion with a flywheel in the boiler, and extensive sound and light functions. Four axles are powered with traction tires, and the lighting uses maintenance-free warm white LEDs, with headlights that change with travel direction and a separately controllable upper headlight. The close coupling between the locomotive and tender adheres to NEM standards, and additional features include brake hoses, prototype couplers, and piston rod protection sleeves.
